George Abbey Praises Amuneke’s U17 W/Cup Final Feat

Former Super Eagles defender George Abbey has hailed Golden Eaglets coach Emmanuel Amuneke for taking the team to the final of the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.

The Eaglets came from a goal down to beat Mexico 4-2, with the quartet of skipper Kelechi Nwakali, Orji Okonkwo, Osinachi Ebere and Victor Osimhen all getting on the scoresheet.

They will take on Mali in an all Africa final on Sunday.

According to the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations bronze medal winner, a  lot of credit should go to the Golmden Eaglets coach, Amuneke, for obvious reason:

"When results go wrong, the coach gets the blame/bullet. When things go right we should also commend/praise the coach. Amuneke well done," Abbey wrote on his Twitter handle.

A win for the Eaglets will see them defend the trophy they won in 2013 in UAE and claim their fifth title.

God Almighty has seen our coach and his boys through to the final.  That is the LORD for us Nigerians, but we should endeavour to thank the LORD and pray for HIM to see us through the final.  He is the beginning of our winning and would our end in the winnings, we should ask GOD to give our Coach and his boys the final victory,
