Nasarawa United recorded their second win of the season, edging out Heartland 1-0 in a  match day ten fixture in the Nigeria Professional Football League on Thursday  at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi, reports

Emmanuel Makama scored the winning goal for the Solid Miners ten minutes from time.

The defender converted a beautiful free-kick from just outside the box to ease the pressure on coach Kabiru Dogo.

The Lafia-based club have now moved into the 19th position on the log following the victory.

Nasarawa United have endured a poor start to the season, winning only one out of six fixtures prior to the game against Heartland.
Heartland on the other hand  sit in 13th position in the table.
