Sunshine Stars defeated Enyimba 2-1 in a rescheduled match three fixture at the Akure Township on Wednesday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Isiaka Oladuntoye grabbed the opener for Sunshine Stars in the eighth minute.
Chima Akas however equalised for Enyimba with magnificent shot in the 13th minute.
The visitors were reduced 10 when Ifeanyi Anaemena was sent off in the 42nd minute.
The game looked to heading for a draw before Okiki Afolabi scored the winning goal six minutes from time.
In another rescheduled fixture, Nasarawa United beat Giwa FC 3-1 at the Aper Aku Stadium.
Abdulrahman Bashir put the Solid Miners ahead on 19 minutes.
Aminu Mbai restored parity for the visitors on the half hour mark.
Bashir restored Nasarawa United's lead when hit the back of the net in first half , with Aminu Kadir grabbing his side's third goal of the game in the 55th minute.
